Skeletal drawings
Students drew parts of the skeletal system by using the app The Essential Skeleton2. Students were also given a skeletal chart to familiarize themselves with correct terminology of the skeletal system. Students focused on standard proportion that describes a person or object that appears to have the appropriate height, width and depth compared to it's surroundings.

QR Code for Zentangle Patterns
Students were introduced to the art of Zentangles. A Zentangle is an art form by using Line to create Patterns. It's purpose is to reduce stress while focusing on creativity. Below is a group picture from each 6th grade class. Ask your child to identify theirs.
Students began our major art project and were told if they have an electronic device, they may download a free QR Code app and scan the code. This will take you to numerous amounts of patterns that students may apply to their art.

A variety of printouts were made for students that do not have an electronic device or they may use the computers in class.

WE CAN DO IT!
We sure did it!
Thank you for the drawing Christine! I've received many compliments about students artwork from teachers at Draper and across the district. You all have the capability to do grand things. I wish you much luck as you move on to Jr. High. You all will be missed so much!

WINDING 1 PT. PERSPECTIVE
This week we began our final major project. I have added the Power Point slides we covered in class as well as students work in progress.
I saw this idea years ago from a website and thought I'd give it a try but changed some of the objectives.
